How to Add a Free Forum in Your Website or Blog

Now time to setup an awesome forum on your Website or Blog. It's Really easy to design. Just follow our below steps.

Step 1 :
At first you need to a Google account (Gmail) to create a Google group. If you already have then please ignore this step. If you haven't then please create an Gmail account from Here

Step 2 :

Then go to https://groups.google.com/?fromgroups#!myforums and from the navigation menu select the Create Group. The buttom would different from others one. So you can easily select it. Like below image :

Now a form will be opened which would ask for details information. Just fill up the form. Don’t be confused. We will explain & everything, So everyone can fill it without facing any problem.

Group Name :  
There you enter the name which name you want for your forum. Just write your own.

Group Email address: 
There we will choose an email address as well as our Forum URL. For example if we write “troymama” in the text box area. It would provide us with a free email Example : troymama@googlrgroups.com as well as URL is http://groups.google.com/forum/embed/?place=forum/troymama.

Group Description: 
Write something about forum Just like your website description which you write in your website.

Group’s primery language:  
This is the language that a blogger or visitor may select according to his desire needs. However, we usually select English (US) which is an International language.

Group type: 
Now this the most important thing. There are three options i.e. Email,List,Web Forum, Q&A Forum. Since, we are creating an online forum. Therefore, we would select “Web Forum”

Now once everything Done. Select the “Create” button present at the top of the page.

Step 3:

It’s time to Use it as a website forum. So follow below steps. This is the easiest part of the whole tutorial. Just Login to your website admin panel. Add a New page using HTML page. For blogger just go to Blogger >> Add a New Page >> From blogger post editor select Edit HTML tab and past the following coding in the HTML Box. Don’t forget to Replace “troymama” with your won mailing address which you previously made i.e. troymama@googlegroups.com

Step 4:

Now you can Publish your brand new forum on your  website. You can also manage more things like category, label etc. by login the forum.
